Pindash in n8n

Use n8n’s MCP Client node to ask Pindash for your numbers and send them wherever you want, or give Pindash’s tools to an AI agent. Read-only, with the stores you choose.

  • Read-only
  • No buyer data
  • Available on Pro and Business · Included during the trial

What you can automate

Your workflows call the same queries as the dashboard, the email and exports, and take the result where you work:

  • Every Monday, the weekly report (informe_semanal) in a Slack channel or your inbox.
  • Every morning, yesterday’s sales summary (resumen_ventas with periodo: ayer) in an email to the team.
  • Every month, last month’s numbers (periodo: mes_anterior) as a new row in Google Sheets.
  • Open alerts (alertas_abiertas) or best-selling products, whenever you decide.
  • With an AI agent in the workflow, free-form questions about your sales with Pindash’s numbers.

For example

  • Schedule Trigger (Monday, 8:00) → MCP Client “informe_semanal” → Slack.
  • Schedule Trigger (every day, 7:30) → MCP Client “resumen_ventas”, period “ayer” → Gmail.
  • Schedule Trigger (day 1) → MCP Client “resumen_ventas”, period “mes_anterior” → Google Sheets.
  • Chat Trigger → AI Agent with MCP Client Tool → answers with your numbers.

What data Pindash reads

What it receives
The workflow receives aggregates (sales, orders, products, channels…) from the stores you authorize and, in the order list, each order without any buyer data.
Limits
Up to 60 queries per minute per connection, and each query covers 400 days at most.
Log
Pindash records each query (tool, result and timing) without storing the questions, the arguments or the answers.

What it doesn’t read or change

  • Your buyers’ names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.
  • Anything that changes Pindash or your stores: the workflow only queries.
  • Stores you haven’t authorized for that connection.

How to connect

  1. In Pindash, go to Settings → Integrations and copy the MCP server address (in production, https://mcp.pindash.pro).
  2. In n8n, add the MCP Client node (for a fixed workflow step, like the scheduled report) or MCP Client Tool (to give Pindash’s tools to an AI Agent node).
  3. In Server Transport choose HTTP Streamable and paste the Pindash address into MCP Endpoint URL.
  4. In Authentication choose MCP OAuth2 authentication and create a new credential with Use Dynamic Client Registration turned on (the default): n8n registers itself with Pindash, with no client ID or secret. Click to connect your account.
  5. n8n will take you to Pindash: sign in, choose the stores that connection can query and click “Allow access”.
  6. In the MCP Client node, pick the tool in Tool (for example, informe_semanal), with manual or JSON Input Mode, and connect its output to Slack, Gmail or Google Sheets. Put a Schedule Trigger in front so it runs every Monday.
  7. To remove access, click “Remove access” in Settings → Integrations: it stops working on the next query.

We’ve tested it with n8n on our own accounts.

Requirements

  • It’s included in Pro and Business and during the trial.
  • An n8n instance (n8n Cloud or self-hosted) with the MCP Client and MCP Client Tool nodes. If you host it yourself, its public address (or localhost) must match the OAuth redirect shown in the credential.

The numbers you query reach n8n and the services you send them to (Slack, your email, Google Sheets…), and are covered by their own terms. More questions about AI assistants.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most about this integration.

Are the numbers the same as in the dashboard?

Yes. Queries use the same definitions as the dashboard, the daily email and exports. If some data is incomplete or delayed, the answer says so.

Which plans include it?

It’s included in Pro and Business and during the trial. See plans.

Can n8n see my customers’ data?

No. It receives aggregates and, in the order list, orders without name, email, phone or address. Groups of fewer than 5 customers come without amounts.

Can n8n change anything in Pindash or my store?

No. Pindash’s MCP server only has query tools: it doesn’t create, change or delete anything, in Pindash or in your stores.

Which tool do I use for the weekly report?

informe_semanal returns the same report as the Monday email (sales, orders, average order value, refunds, customers and their comparison). For other periods, resumen_ventas with periodo (hoy, ayer, esta_semana, este_mes, mes_anterior or este_ano) or with desde and hasta. Tool and argument names are in Spanish.

Do I have to reconnect every so often?

Not while the workflow is in use: access lasts 1 hour and n8n renews it on its own with the authorization, which is valid for 30 days from its last use. If you remove it in Pindash, you’ll need to connect again.

Does it work with self-hosted n8n?

Yes. Pindash accepts your instance’s OAuth redirect if it’s HTTPS or localhost. If n8n shows a redirect with a different address, check your instance’s public URL before connecting.

Are there usage limits?

Yes: up to 60 queries per minute per connection, and each query covers 400 days at most. Over the limit, that minute’s queries are rejected; the dashboard keeps working.

How do I remove access?

In Settings → Integrations, click “Remove access”. It stops working on the next query, even if n8n still had valid access.
