Pindash in Microsoft Copilot

Add Pindash as a tool to a Copilot Studio agent and ask about your store in your own words, in Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot or wherever you publish the agent. Read-only, with the stores you choose.

  • Read-only
  • No buyer data
  • Available on Pro and Business · Included during the trial

What you can ask

The agent uses Pindash’s queries, with the same definitions as the dashboard, the email and exports:

  • Sales, orders, average order value and customers for any period, and how they compare with another.
  • Breakdowns by store, day, hour, country, payment method and carrier.
  • Sales by channel and campaign, and the cost and ROAS of Google Ads and Meta, each kept separate.
  • Best-selling products, stock, new and returning customers, and the order list without buyer data.
  • Monthly target, weekly report, open alerts and margins (on plans with margins).

For example

  • How much did we sell this week compared with last week?
  • Which store grew the most this month?
  • Which Meta campaigns have the worst ROAS?
  • Write a summary of the weekly report for the team.

What data Pindash reads

What it receives
The agent receives aggregates (sales, orders, products, channels…) from the stores you authorize and, in the order list, each order without any buyer data.
Limits
Up to 60 queries per minute per connection, and each query covers 400 days at most.
Log
Pindash records each query (tool, result and timing) without storing the questions, the arguments or the answers.

What it doesn’t read or change

  • Your buyers’ names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.
  • Anything that changes Pindash or your stores: the agent only queries.
  • Stores you haven’t authorized for that connection.

How to connect

  1. In Pindash, go to Settings → Integrations and copy the MCP server address (in production, https://mcp.pindash.pro).
  2. In Copilot Studio, open your agent and go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol.
  3. Fill in Server name (for example, “Pindash”), Server description (for example, “Sales, orders and channels of my stores, read-only”) and, in Server URL, the Pindash address.
  4. For authentication choose OAuth 2.0 with the type Dynamic discovery and click Create and Next: Copilot Studio registers itself with Pindash, with no client ID or secret.
  5. In Add tool, choose Create a new connection.
  6. Copilot Studio will take you to Pindash: sign in, choose the stores that connection can query and click “Allow access”.
  7. Click Add to agent and ask the agent about your sales.
  8. To remove access, click “Remove access” in Settings → Integrations: it stops working on the next query.

We’ve tested it with Copilot Studio on our own accounts.

Requirements

  • It’s included in Pro and Business and during the trial.
  • A licensed Microsoft Copilot Studio. In some tenants the MCP wizard has to be enabled by your Microsoft 365 administrators.

The numbers you query reach Microsoft and are covered by its own terms and by your organization’s data policies. More questions about AI assistants.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most about this integration.

Are the numbers the same as in the dashboard?

Yes. Queries use the same definitions as the dashboard, the daily email and exports. If some data is incomplete or delayed, the answer says so.

Which plans include it?

It’s included in Pro and Business and during the trial. See plans.

Can Copilot see my customers’ data?

No. It receives aggregates and, in the order list, orders without name, email, phone or address. Groups of fewer than 5 customers come without amounts.

Can Copilot change anything in Pindash or my store?

No. Pindash’s MCP server only has query tools: it doesn’t create, change or delete anything, in Pindash or in your stores.

Does it work with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams?

Yes, through a Copilot Studio agent: Pindash is added to the agent as a tool and the agent is published wherever you use it (Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot or other channels your organization allows).

What if my organization blocks connectors?

Copilot Studio uses Power Platform connectors for MCP tools, so your organization’s data policies also apply to Pindash. If the option doesn’t appear, ask your Microsoft 365 administrators.

Are there usage limits?

Yes: up to 60 queries per minute per connection, and each query covers 400 days at most. Over the limit, that minute’s queries are rejected; the dashboard keeps working.

How do I remove access?

In Settings → Integrations, click “Remove access”. It stops working on the next query, even if Copilot still had valid access.
